Designed to fit a wide range of Harley-Davidson models, this rotor is compatible with Big Twin models from 2000 to 2017 and XL models from 2000 to 2010, making it a versatile and essential upgrade for numerous motorcycles in these generations. As a brand with a legendary reputation in the racing world, Galfer brings race-proven technology and craftsmanship to the street, and this rotor is a perfect example of their commitment to both form and function.
In addition
The key to the rotor’s advanced performance lies in its two primary technologies: the “Wave®” design and its “Full-Floating” construction. The unique, non-round Wave® shape is not just for looks; it is meticulously designed to optimize heat dissipation, ensuring consistent braking performance and preventing brake fade, even under the most demanding conditions. The full-floating design is also a critical performance feature. It consists of a high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum inner carrier connected to a laser-cut 420 stainless steel outer braking ring via high-quality “buttons.” This allows the braking ring to expand and contract freely under extreme braking heat, which prevents warping and maintains a perfectly true surface for the brake pads.
